Tepoztlán is a charming Pueblo Mágico just 80 minutes south of Mexico City. Surrounded by mountains and rich with culture, it's the perfect destination to relax, explore, and celebrate.

Fly into Mexico City International Airport (MEX). It's the main gateway for Tepoztlán.

Plan to arrive at least one day before the wedding. From the airport, expect about 1 to 1.5 hours by car to Tepoztlán, depending on traffic.

Tepoztlán is about 1 to 1.5 hours from Mexico City by car, depending on traffic.

We'll share recommended shuttle and transfer options once available. For independent travelers, rental cars, private transfers, authorized airport taxis, and buses are all good options.

Stay at PiedraViva

PiedraViva is exclusively reserved for our wedding weekend, meaning you can relax, explore, and celebrate with us across the whole property. The venue includes on-site lodging, a restaurant, bar, spa, and salon.

Junior Master rooms listed online are for guests staying Friday and Saturday nights, with Friday check-in and Sunday checkout. You may add Sunday night at the lower third-night rate and check out Monday. If you can stay Saturday night only, please contact Sofia or Riley directly. Rooms are limited, so we strongly encourage guests to stay on-site and send us a request for their group.

A Few Helpful Tips

Passport

U.S. guests need a valid passport book. Current processing times are 4-6 weeks routine or 2-3 weeks expedited, not including mailing time, so check early.

Arrive early

Plan to land in Mexico City at least one day before the wedding so you have time to transfer to Tepoztlán and settle in.

Transportation

Shuttle details are TBD. Rental cars, private transfers, authorized airport taxis, and buses are possible options depending on your plans.

Weather

June in Tepoztlán is warm and green, with afternoon showers possible. Pack for warm days, rain, and cooler evenings.

Packing

Bring comfortable shoes for cobblestones, sunscreen, sunglasses, a light evening layer, swimwear, and rain protection.

Cards are widely accepted, but pesos are helpful for taco stands, markets, tips, and smaller local spots.
